Investments in the judicial infrastructure for more efficient work
and providing better services to citizens

Representatives of the Secretariat of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) visited the construction site in Olovo and held a meeting with contractors and expert supervision regarding the construction of a new building of the Department of the Municipal Court in Visoko, located in Olovo.

The HJPC BiH delegation has determined that the works are proceeding in accordance with the foreseen plan. So far the concrete foundations have been completed and the ground floor concrete slab has been placed. At the moment the masonry works on the ground floor are being performed. Works on the construction of a new building of the Department of the Municipal Court in Visoko located in Olovo began in October 2017. Completion of works is expected in early April 2018.

For this purpose, the HJPC BiH has allocated funds from the Improving Judicial Efficiency Project II funded by the Government of Norway in the amount of cca 550,000 KM.

Since it was not possible to reconstruct the existing court building because of a very bad condition, through this project a brand new facility is being built that will serve court employees as well as citizens.
